After 18 and a half years he decided he had enough and he went to play in the clouds.

This is Boogie.
He arrived in to our little family sometimes in summer of 2005. A little furry ball no more than 20 inches at the time with very smiley little silly face, very curious from the beginning and seemed to be happy all the time. Grew up to a very handsome dog in a course of that first year but always kept that innocent puppy mentality throughout his life. Never carried much about ball catching but many a football (soccer) ball fell victim TO Boogies sharp teeth. His favorite was scarring the s**t out of geese around North pound park, he loved that! Before Irena came up with name for Proper Bonkers the store was supposed to be called Boogies this Or that ( shop, vintage, eclectic etc)
Boogie loved Irena's cooking and was her constant companion in the kitchen , or in the garden , LOVED French fries!
Boogie didn't like storms, fireworks, loud people and loud dogs, groomers,( really the only person he ever let groom him and brush him was Irena. And that would last for hours with a lot of plastic bags needed but no treats. Just two of them playing this game and enjoying communicating honestly and with love and trust. It was really a special thing to witness and be around )
I always felt great pleasure when someone would make a comment how well Boogie seem to fit Irena , Marlon and me, and vice versa. We were a family.
Boogie was an old soul. We knew that. Never clingy, but always affectionate and always on the lookout to protect. Very oppiniated but very obeying too.
Boogie was a best friend anyone could ever have. Boogie was my brother.
Two days ago , after we both had a French fries for breakfast, he lay his head in my lap, and went to play in the clouds. He had enough. And he knew it. We both knew it.
Travel light my devoted faithful friend, I love you so much and I will miss you forever.
