Creating inclusive workplaces isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s essential for stronger, more effective organizations. Research highlights that nearly 46% of LGBTQ+ employees feel the need to hide who they are at work, impacting both wellbeing and performance. 🏳️🌈 Companies are showing that when organizations prioritize psychological safety, inclusive leadership, and equitable benefits, employees are more engaged, creative, and empowered to contribute fully.
MCSQ believes inclusive cultures drive better business outcomes. Because when people can show up as their authentic selves, organizations thrive.

A new mixed-use project in South Los Angeles is combining retail and housing in one space. A Costco warehouse built below 800 residential apartments, including units dedicated to low-income households. The concept reflects a growing trend in urban development: using large retail anchors to support housing, jobs, and community infrastructure all in one location. With construction underway and completion expected in 2027, the project could become a blueprint for how businesses help address housing shortages while expanding their footprint.
At MCSQ Consulting, we watch how innovative partnerships between business and real estate are reshaping communities and how strategic thinking can create impact beyond the traditional storefront.

This , our CEO Ana Battung recently stepped a little outside the boardroom. Ana played Dr. Vanessa King as a stand in and background extra in the “Twist & Shout” episode of Chicago Med (Season 11, Episode 14, 12:16). For Ana, it was a reminder that growth doesn’t just happen in familiar spaces. Whether in business or life, trying new things, continuing to learn, and stepping outside your comfort zone can open unexpected opportunities and perspectives.
When asked about the experience, Ana said, “It was amazing to see the production from an insider perspective. This was about meeting some great people, trying new things, and getting out of my comfort zone with the intention to always keep growing.”
At MCSQ Consulting, we believe leadership is about staying curious, embracing new experiences, and never being afraid to challenge yourself. Sometimes the best lessons happen when you simply say yes to something different.
