How does it work? Zekelman teammates get special payments when they hit milestones like 5, 10, 20, and even 30 years of employment. That means more than 500 Zekelman employees will receive a Loyalty Award this fiscal year. 🙌🏆

On January 11, Zekelman Industries shut down all production lines for a full hour. The purpose? Chairman and CEO Barry Zekelman addressed teammates at our state-of-the-art Rochelle, Illinois facility for our first-ever company-wide town hall.
Thousands of Zekelman employees also tuned in from the U.S. and Canada to hear Zekelman outline plans for the company's future, including:

🙌 The launch of Z-Connect — a mobile app for Zekelman’s 2,900 teammates
🙌 A new company logo
At the heart of it all? The unveiling of Zekelman’s new mantra and rally cry: Believe in What You Build.

“American steel builds everything in this country, from the sidewalks to the biggest buildings,” says Jacob Doyle, Second Shift Production Supervisor at Wheatland/Western Tube in Rochelle, Illinois.
So when Doyle sees Zekelman steel out in the world, he’s proud to tell his wife and kids, “I did that.”
Doyle isn’t alone. Many of our teammates say they feel a huge sense of pride knowing that they’re contributing to domestic production.
“American manufacturing is truly the backbone of this country and this economy,” says Shawn Londrie, Director of Planning at Wheatland Tube. “I can’t think of anything better that I’d like to be involved with.”
