https://aidandrescue.org/israel-emergency-medical-aid/ is sponsoring an important initiative with our partners in Israel that focuses on both medical equipment as well as preparedness and training doctors, medics, and first responders “Kitote Kananote”—to respond effectively during emergency and mass-casualty situations in Israel.

Israel’s medical professionals are among the most highly trained in the world. During wartime, however, the challenge is not skill — it is scale. Large numbers of responders may be called into action simultaneously, often in time-critical situations where decisions made in minutes determine outcomes.

This initiative equips medical professionals with advanced trauma-response skills and portable diagnostic tools, including point-of-care ultrasounds (PoCUS). These tools allow responders to rapidly identify internal bleeding, lung injuries, and other life-threatening conditions when every minute counts.

Over the past 2 years, Project Aid & Rescue has worked directly with Israeli medical professionals to support frontline trauma care. While earlier efforts focused on urgently delivering life-saving equipment, experience has shown that training and preparedness are just as essential — especially at scale. This initiative reflects that hard-earned lesson.

Training saves lives through readiness.
Like protective equipment, its value is often invisible — measured not in headlines, but in lives not lost because the right decision was made at the right moment.

Three years ago I founded Project Aid & Rescue and we have been sending medical equipment to Israel since October 7th, 2023.

I am reaching out to share the vital work we are doing at Project Aid & Rescue, and to ask for your help.

We are a 100% volunteer-run charity dedicated to delivering advanced medical equipment to Israel’s medics on the front lines.

We are a small organization achieving what much larger, well-known organizations often cannot: providing targeted, life-saving medical equipment.
In fact, as an all volunteer charity, .98 cents of every dollar goes to supplies delivered.

Since October 7th, our Golden Hour Project has been supplying critical tools like ventilators, mobile ultrasounds, tourniquets, Capnographs, video laryngoscopes, and more to medics and first responders in Israel.

Currently we are also getting a lot of requests for AAJTs, abdominal aortic junctional tourniquets. It’s the only way to stop bleeds from high amputations or penetrating exsanguinating injuries where the CAT tourniquets can't reach.

Junctional bleeds are the second leading cause of preventable deaths on the battlefield especially with explosives.

These supplies are crucial for saving lives during the critical “Golden Hour” following traumatic events.

Many of the medics are reserve doctors who work in hospitals throughout Israel. They are used to a gold standard level of care. However, the IDF has limited resources and isn’t providing that same level of care we would expect soldiers to receive. So we are working to help these medics get life-saving equipment closer to the front lines and into more units.

As you may know, there have been recent call ups of significant numbers of units by the IDF. Many for the 3rd or 4th time. Units are now in Lebanon, Syria, Samaria, the West Bank and Gaza.
The medical needs are still high and supplies are being spread across many fronts. We are working to raise $200,000 to continue meeting urgent requests from our medical partners in Israel.
