I served in the US Army Reserves from 1995-2003. I enlisted when I was 17, and my parents had to sign off to allow me to attend basic training. I attended basic training between my junior and senior year of high school. I then went on to complete my training after high school where I trained to be a 62J (general construction equipment operator).
