How do you measure the mental wellness of your community? To mark BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month, we honor the unique challenges faced by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color and see what difference you can make — locally, nationally, and globally — to ensure everyone has access to care, safety, and mental health resources. Lawrence Hall is proud to offer trauma-informed guidance and therapies to BIPOC communities all across Chicago.

It was a fun, revitalizing trip full of gorgeous views and lasting memories like making pizzas on the open fire, roasting smores, and catching fireflies. Where will your journeys take you this summer?

While our Garden of Serenity was glad for the torrential Chicago rain, we stayed dry and held our 2026 Garden Reception indoors! After our Board's Annual Meeting, we got a deep dive into the 50-year history of our Therapeutic Day School, we honored our community partners, awarded youth scholarships and our Volunteer(s) of the Year, and celebrated some exciting organizational shifts! See more pictures from our spring celebration in our photo album.
