Breaker, breaker! 📻 Our team just finished our walkthrough, and we’re giving you a loud and clear “Copy that!” on the excitement levels for this Saturday’s Fun Run.

We’re officially on-site at the park, mapping out the routes and ensuring every detail is “10-4” for our incredible participants. Our mission is to provide equitable access to movement, and the prep work is where that magic begins. We’re energized, prepared, and ready to make this a memorable day for the whole community.

🎉 We are happy to share that Chicago Run is one of the recipients of the 2025 Project Play Champion Grant!

This award will support our Junior Coach Program, empowering high school and college-aged alumni to return as peer leaders and mentors in our summer programming.

Through paid coaching, volunteerism, and career exploration, Junior Coaches build leadership skills while supporting younger participants and strengthening their own physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Thank you to the Aspen Institute’s Project Play Champions program for recognizing innovative, equity-driven initiatives like ours that uplift youth voices and expand access to the power of play.
