ASC Staffing Group - Chicago

ASC Staffing Group is seeking for Truck Driver Class B.

***Only Class B license holders will be considered***

Duties:

- Safely operate a tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of freight
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and other equipment
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of yourself, others, and the cargo being transported

Skills:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class B, with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated
- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver
- Familiarity with various types of trucks and trailers, such as flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers.
- Ability to safely load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for minor maintenance tasks on the vehicle
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, clients, and team members effectively
- Ability to follow directions and navigate efficiently using GPS or other navigation systems

- Able to work all week out from home and state

The driver will be delivering Frozen and Dry food items.

- Ability to work at the warehouse if not driving.

Pay: $22 - $25 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
