Klay being my dad is not as straightforward as some may think. I encourage you to look into why you think I’m not telling the truth. I was adopted, and still learning the details about all of this.

Think about your own family dynamics, and how somebody down the line did something that made the unit a bit more complicated.

Since moving to Illinois, I’ve been told numerous times how much we look alike, even down to our childhood photos. Keep in mind that I’ve since spoken to my biological mom, and it was proven that we are related. I haven’t seen any reason why she would be dishonest about this.

For those saying I’m doing this for attention: I’ve been more focused on my education and college basketball career. There’s so much more I could say, but I’d rather not for the sake of my family back in Spain.

So, I started to do my own little research. When they left to the grocery store about a week later I started to search every file possible that I could find. Just as I was about to give up, I found an envelope in my “mothers” drawer. Inside the opened envelope contained my REAL mothers name and that’s how my journey began. The quest to find my family. Fast forward about 4 months later I got in contact with my birth mother and she agreed to meet at a cofee shop by the school I was going to at the time. We talked for hours. That day I had told my ”mother” I was staying at a friends house. I asked her all the basic questions such as where she was born, how old she is, etc. It all made sense. She was only 17 years old when I was born and her parents were strict and she had no choice. I forgave her without second guessing anything. I eventually asked her who my dad was and i felt her mood shift. She said that I was originally born in Los Angeles, CA and she was seeing this guy from her school at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. I felt as if she was dodging my question so I asked her again and she decided to stop beating around the bush and said “Klay Thompson.” At first I didn’t believe her but all of her facts added up after doing some research. The point in which we stand currently is trying to get in contact with Klay Thompson. Klay Thompson if you see this.. I am your son.
