Anjali Mudra. The gesture of prayer, offering, compassion, gratitude, devotion…you may know it from yoga or meditation. I find this pose to be calming, centering and balancing in yoga practice, meditation and when I need to ground myself. Sitting in a comfortable seat, bring your hands to heart center, press your palms together with fingers pointing upwards. You can rest your thumbs against your sternum. Relax your shoulders away from your ears. Focus on your breath and clearing your mind.
