Picture description: The Schwinn Mansion, completed in 1905 by architect Frederick E. Gatterdam for Ignaz and Helen Schwinn, of Arnold, Schwinn & Co., the largest bicycle manufacturer in the US. The mansion, formerly located at 2128 W. Palmer Square, was torn down in 1955.
