Our friends at Compass Casting/Bokeh BG Casting are looking for background actors that would like to work with them on Moses the Black. MtB is a faith-based film set in Chicago’s West Side and inspired by a 4th-century outlaw-turned-saint.

Filming will take place in Champaign County so they’re ideally looking for locals or folks with reliable transportation to and from set. If you’re interested and available, make sure to complete the form linked below!

Hi Everyone!

Our June feature film, Double Blind, has officially wrapped! If you didn’t get a chance to work on this project, don’t worry - there will be plenty of background opportunities coming your way soon.

I’m back in office with the team prepping for another fabulous season of OneChicago. Keep an eye on this page for Chicago PD & Chicago Med casting notices that will start to go out in the next week or so.

In the meantime, grab a tape measurer and make sure to take note of your latest measurements so that you’re prepared to submit them once casting notices go out. Here’s a helpful guide with instructions on how to collect the necessary measurements. Hello again everyone! If you're interested in working as background on a feature film shooting through June in the Chicagoland area, make sure to submit your availability via the form linked below!

This particular project is looking for background actors that can play dining staff, upscale art gallery guests, executive board members, office employees, orderlies and elderly care facility patients. Some roles may require a fitting in advance of the filming date. If that is the case, you will receive a fitting bump of $25 on your first filming day voucher.

PAY RATES FOR FILMING:

General Background (ages 17+): $130/8 hrs
Stand Ins/Photo Doubles: $180/8 hrs
Minors (ages 2-16): $155/8hrs

*Chicago PD - Background Casting Notice*

We're putting together a "backup list" for anyone who is available Monday 3/31 in the event of cancellations over the weekend. This is open to any gender, any ethnicity, ages 20s+. Background roles pay $129.60/8.

To submit, please send an email to [email protected], and use "MONDAY 3/31" as your subject line. Make sure to include all the following information:

- LEGAL FIRST & LAST NAME (no nicknames, no stage names)

- AGE

- HEIGHT & WEIGHT

- CELL PHONE NUMBER

- MEASUREMENTS
(MALES: Coat/Jacket, T-Shirt, Neck, Sleeve length, Waist, Inseam and Shoe // Example: 44R, t-L, 16.5/33, 34x32, 11)
(FEMALES: Dress, T-Shirt, Bra/Cup, Waist, and Shoe // Example: 8, t-M, 34B, w30'', 8 shoe)

- VEHICLE: Year, color, make & model

- PHOTOS: Please submit a headshot and a full length photo that reflects your current look (hairstyle, facial hair, etc). NO FILTERED PHOTOS, NO OUTDATED PHOTOS.

- TATTOOS: Please provide photos of ALL tattoos that can be seen in a sleeveless shirt. This includes face/neck, arms, and hands/fingers. If you do not have tattoos, state NO TATTOOS so we don't have to follow up and ask.
