The demand continues to grow as the federal deadline has passed. The Secretary of State has announced, select DMV branches in Illinois will offer walk-in services throughout the remainder of August into the first week of September. The branches will be open on Saturdays between 7:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. through Sept. 6.

• Des Plaines
• Elgin
• Joliet
• Lake Zurich DMV+
• Mount Prospect DMV+
• St. Charles
• Woodstock

Local 1 Cub Club got together on Friday and Saturday at the Help Build Hope Event. Apprentices assembled wall panels that will be utilized by Habitat for Humanity for families in need.

This could be a good stepping stone if you know someone considering becoming a Union Carpenter.
