Meet the scientists! Viktor Schmuck is a postdoctoral research associate at King’s College London’s Engineering Department, working in the Social AI & Robotics (SAIR) Laboratory. He completed his PhD in the same laboratory, where his research focused on human-robot interaction, machine learning within the scope of human and group behaviour understanding, and socially aware navigation of robots. Currently, he works on socially aware robotic applications focused on Human-Robot Interaction, especially how robots can express themselves via non-verbal behaviour and how co-working with them could be made more seamless.
