Today we celebrated the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a remarkable man who lived his life in service to others. Our organization wouldn't be here if it weren't for the works and efforts Dr. King. His legacy will forever be a torch by which we follow.

"We Collaborate to Create Initiatives and Unifying Solutions Wherever There Is A Need"
BE! @ Community Initiatives is a newly formed nonprofit collaboration between The Center for Community Development Initiatives and The BE! @ Program. As separate entities the leaders of these two organizations have been focused for many years on the lack of resources and initiatives that are available to communities of color. With segmented focuses, our entities focused on supporting the whole life of the people no matter their race, class, sexual orientation, profession, or religious beliefs.
As a newly formed partnership, we on a mission to cultivate and execute unifying initiatives, collaborative partnerships, and community connections that help to strengthen the lives of families, communities, and individuals. We seek to do this while also cultivating lifelong empowerment, skills, wellness, and self-development in the lives of youth, adults, and seniors. We’re looking to partner, align, and work with individuals and organizations to meet the diverse needs of our communities. From advocacy to housing, public health, safety, education, crime reduction, mental health and wellness, workforce preparedness, food and income insecurity we are working daily to create and engage in initiatives that address the most prominent concerns and needs of the people.
