EquityWORKS was thrilled to be a part of Christmas in the Wards last Saturday, helping to bring holiday joy...and toys...to 800 families from 40 wards across Chicago. And we were honored as
Karen Freeman-Wilson of the Chicago Urban League and Bob Dunn of Landmark Development, along with community partners, accepted the “Service to the Community” for “a person, group, or organization that exemplifies service and unity to the people and communities throughout Chicago.” Award presenter Tahman Bradley of WGN News noted that our new organization is already having far-reaching impact.
