Hello, lovely friends! I’m rekindling my passion for floral design and wanted to reintroduce myself. I’m Lema, the face behind Stems by Lem. As a stay-at-home momma to two precious babies, I’m constantly inspired by their love and energy.

Before motherhood and Stems by Lem, I worked as a legal assistant in DC then Chicago. Despite meeting incredible people, I felt unfulfilled. When Covid hit, I discovered floral design at a week-long school. I was hooked! I left my corporate job and started Stems by Lem, but life had other plans. After getting pregnant and dealing with pregnancy symptoms, which didn’t agree with flowers, I had to put my passion on hold.

Now, with my babies a bit older, I’m diving back in. Floral design makes me feel free and alive. I’m grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion and look forward to collaborating opportunities!
