For those who don’t know the meaning of this one, it’s written about the moment I survived a mass shooting after attending a release party. That moment took the lives of 4 ppl w/ one of them being a grammar school friend i grew up w/ and injuring 14 others. Living in chicago has silenced us on tragic moments like this, we’re conditioned to just move on or downplay our experiences but how can i downplay something that now forces me to never just hang outside of a bar/club or event. to be paranoid like s**t and mindful of who’s driving past? . it alters your brain chemistry like no other and i wanted to write about it. I told yall i was going to b more transparent w/ yall on why i write the s**t that i write !! Link in bio 📨📨
