Club Lago Restaurant

Small business owners, you know those mornings when your schedule‘s thrown out the window and your day is going to be dictated by emergencies? 7 AM. get a smoke alarm notification at the restaurant. I’m 45 minutes away at the minimum. Is anybody dead? Is anybody hurt? Is the building burned down? -trying to anticipate the scene, putting my shoes on as I drive in.
My Chef gets there first. The dining room is smoky. He follows the sound of the smoke alarm and as I arrive, we realize it’s a small electrical fire in the basement near our beer walk-in and pop gun compressor. Prairie Star Electrical Contractors show up; the owner scolds me for using a non-rated adapter(sorry Carm) and once they’ve cleaned our mess up, I realize none of the compressors are blown. It was just damage at the outlet. The crew goes on their way with the fattest thank you burgers and manicotti in to go bags and we’re on time for lunch service. Prairie Starr to the rescue.
