Helping Exonerees Transition into Society After Wrongful Conviction.

Happy New Year from our Road 2 Reentry team! 🎉
We want to take a moment to thank everyone who’s supported us so far, through a follow, by sharing our mission, through your time and efforts, and by donating. Creating and running a nonprofit is quite a feat, and we recognize the immense work, dedication, and responsibility it takes to do so.
We’ve been hard at work coordinating projects to implement into the new year, including, most recently, new partnerships to facilitate employment and mental health services for our clients. 🌟
This time of year can be both challenging and exciting, particularly for those on their reentry journeys. We’ve got lots of goals for this new year: one of them is to bring our clients together more often and build a stronger community and networks of post-incarceration support among our friends who share similar journeys of discovering themselves and the world after freedom from wrongful conviction.
Your support has meant the world to us, helping make the road to reentry a bit smoother for our clients, who are at the center of what we do.
Check out our website to learn more, and consider donating (links in bio) to help keep our reentry work going. And don’t forget to share and follow to get updates on what we’re up to! 🛣️ 💪🏼

Thank you to everyone who’s contributed and spread the word about our mission so far!!
We’re grateful for your support and are excited to have participated in this year’s Giving Tuesday! While giving is a year-long mission, there are still a few hours left to contribute to help us meet our $20,000 fundraising goal for this season on the one and only . ❤️
We invite you to join us in our mission of supporting our freed and exonerated community on their journeys. Follow us and consider making a tax-deductible donation (links in bio).
By spreading the word and contributing to our cause, you help push our work forward and allow us to assist as many freed and exonerated folks as possible, making the road to reentry after wrongful conviction and wrongful incarceration a little bit smoother for our clients. 🙌

As we reflect on our impact as an organization thus far, we’re grateful to our community partners who have supported R2R clients on their journeys. In partnership with the Exoneration Project, we’ve connected with numerous people and institutions to help our clients learn about and secure the services and resources they need to regain their lives after wrongful conviction and years to decades of wrongful incarceration.
For this year’s Wrongful Conviction Day, Kennedy-King College, Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, and EDDR Corp came out to offer our clients resources and services around adult education and vocational programs, employment, as well as child support and family services.
Your support helps us make these resources available and accessible to our clients and allows us to continue building pipelines of post-incarceration assistance for our freed and exonerated community. These connections not only help us spread greater awareness about the need for reentry assistance where wrongful convictions happen, but also fosters camaraderie among our local communities to create a more just world for folks who are coming home and in need of support on the outside.
With a few hours left of Giving Tuesday, consider and spreading the word about R2R and our mission to help our freed and exonerated community get the support they need on their road to reentry. ⚖️💫

IT'S GIVING TUESDAY. ❤️❤️❤️
Help us reach our $20,000 fundraising goal! We're excited to participate this Giving Season and invite you to join us in our mission of supporting our freed and exonerated community in their journeys. Your contributions push our work forward and allow us to help as many freed and exonerated folks as possible. 🙌
Immediate and consistent support after incarceration is difficult to come by and it's no different for wrongfully convicted folks who often spend years to decades in prison for crimes they did not commit. Road 2 Reentry aims to change that by paving the way for our freed and exonerated community to thrive after wrongful conviction.
From assisting clients with obtaining IDs, helping with their job searches and resumes, connecting them with physical and mental health services and resources, and much more - we want to be a constant source of support for our clients, who are central to our mission and the framework of what we do.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation and sharing our donation link with your friends, family, and networks: https://road2reentry.org/get-involved/donate/
Thank you to everyone who’s contributed so far and spread the word about our mission. Please continue sharing and visit our website (link in bio) to learn more about who we are and what we do. 🛣️🌟🗣️
