A big thank you to the amazing campers and staff from Apachi Evanston for spending a day volunteering with us at the Social Service Center! Your enthusiasm, hard work, and willingness to serve were a huge help with sorting, organizing, and processing donations for our clothing closet. Every item you touched will help support individuals and families in our community.

We hope you left with a deeper understanding of the power of service and community connection. Thank you for spending your day with us and helping us continue our mission of supporting our neighbors with dignity and care.

As we say goodbye to Stacy Jackson today, her last after a 30-year tenure with Chicago Lights, our hearts are full of gratitude and of hope. She has left us with a strong foundation, and we will strive to live into what she describes as a “deep knowing that the best is yet to come for Chicago Lights.”
