“What I’m curious about is Fuji GFX users: what software other photographers use for wired tethering?
I’m bothered with the live view, in Lightroom Classic it disables all of the buttons on camera and switching between live view on and off is not convenient.
Second, how long does the battery lasts while wired tethering (no power through the cable)? For me it’s only about 2-2,5 hours”

Is the Canon R8 too entry level for us? It looks like Canon is planning a new release. Here are the rumored specs, what you Shifters think about it? Good enough for architecture or interior photography?

This just happened to a follow Shifter during the recent soccer game between the US and Beñgium 🥲

And yes, that’s the FBI. In fact over 6 patrol cars and a helicopter tracked me down.
Our scheduling team gave the green light to 300 ft and l’ve flown in the capital hill area of Seattle for years. This was a temporary flight ban. In past years I’d be unable to get my drone off the ground in this case.
Lastly, no message on my controller either. Should I had checked airspace on my own before the flight?
100 percent.
Time will tell what kind of ticket the FAA gives me.”

So am i the only one who thinks this whole Ban thing was just a giant Bait & Switch in order to eventually clear the Skies and Airwaves of all of us pesky Hobbyists and professionals who are literally in the way of all the Drone Delivery Services that are chomping at the bit and ready to go 🤷🏻‍♂️

In January this year, I hired a new accounting firm. Upon reviewing my finances, this team asked how I was paying my State Sales tax, I explained that I didn’t know and thought it was taken care of each year when I sent my taxes in to my accountants. This was not the case. for 2 years.
Luckily, the Texas State Comptroller’s office really helped me and guided me through this fu***ng maze to take care of this ridiculous situation, and I paid the amount I owed over the last 2 years today without having to be pulled into any kind of lien or payment plan.
Not everyone is this fortunate in their small businesses. This fu***ng sucked for me, still, I bought a new vehicle ONE WEEK before I found all of this out in January, and took out a very aggressive loan, thinking I knew I could handle it.
I have been able to manage all of this, thankfully, but that didn’t make it any less stressful.

All of this to say:
TEXAS PHOTOGRAPHERS:
If you are not recording and paying your STATE taxes, each month, I pray you never get caught and have to deal with something like this taking away assets and your livelihood.
You should start paying those today, just to be safe.
ALSO, this is why it’s so important to make sure you have a competent cpa and that THEY are checking your state laws and regulations so s**t like this doesn’t happen.
