Lorenzo Salgado Araujo should still be alive. Instead, his family is left mourning while fighting for the truth.

On this call, we will share updates on the case, discuss organizing efforts underway in Houston and across Texas, and prepare for the National Day of Action & Accountability on Saturday, July 25.

🕯️Join us in supporting a vigil organized by our friends at CAARPR to honor the life of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a Mexican working father who was murdered by racist ICE agents on July 8th in Houston, Texas.

💔In Chicago, we feel the parallels between the murder of Salgado and that of Silverio Villegas-Gonzalez, a father who was murdered by ICE agents while dropping of his kids in Franklin Park.

✊ Join us on July 15th, at 8pm infront of Nuestras Historias mural in Little Village to come together, mourn, and uplift the fighting spirit towards justice.
