š£ļø JOIN US the weekend of Juneteenth to fight back against police crimes and racist attacks on voting rights!
When: 12 PM, Saturday, June 20th
Where: Federal Plaza, Chicago IL
The recent supreme court decision gutting the Voting Rights Act is a racist attack on the fundamental democratic rights of Black people in the United States. Trump wants to take us back to the era of Jim Crow racism and disenfranchisement that was ushered in with the violent betrayal of reconstruction in 1877. But we will not go back.
Black people and all oppressed people have always fought back against racist and political repression. This Juneteenth weekend, join us in the streets to fight back and demand:
DEFEND VOTING RIGHTS!
DEFEND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY POLICE CRIMES!
FREE SURVIVORS OF TORTURE AND WRONGFUL CONVICTION!
END CPD-ICE COLLABORATION!
When voting rights are under attack, what do we do? STAND UP FIGHT BACK!

āHello, Iām calling to demand that Hill Correctional Facility end the medical neglect and mistreatment of Eugene Jackson (K74915). Jackson was denied adequate medical care after being sexually assaulted by other inmates on May 8. On May 13, after COs attempted to move Jackson back to the floor where his abusers stay and threatened to kill him, he experienced a mental health crisis. Jackson has now been given a ticket for ādamagingā a steel door that he kicked while calling for help. The door had already been dented before the incident. COs at Hill neglected to lock Jacksonās commissary box when he was eventually sent to the hospital after the assault, allowing rats to destroy all his food and commissary purchases. Jackson has also been denied treatment for his chronic foot pain and a recent illness that caused him to vomit and urinate blood. Please do everything in your power to ensure that Eugene Jackson:
- Is updated on the status of the sexual assault investigation
- Is not charged with any unfair ticket
- Is compensated for his commissary items that were destroyed, and
- Is given appropriate medical treatment for his chronic foot pain. Thank you.ā
