Today, Monday June 22, we joined in solidarity to demand that the Illinois State Board of Investments and IL Treasurer, Michael, Frerichs, divest from Israel, by removing all Illinois funds from Israeli bonds and companies complicit in the occupation and genocide in Palestine.

Devon Showers is just one of 100s of wrongfully convicted petitioners waiting for the governor to make a ruling. Use the script on slide two to call in and build the pressure on Pritzker to do what’s right, and comment on this post when you’ve called. Justice delayed is justice denied!
If Pritkzer is serious about being the progressive he likes to present himself as, he needs to pick up his pen and get to work!
Devon Showers is a survivor of police torture and wrongful conviction by CPD officers Abreu, O'Conner, and Geraffeo in Area 6 where they beat him until he signed a confession statement.
