One of our clients - Global Logistics company is currently looking for an Import Coordinator. This position pays $16 or more per hour based on skills and experience.
Summary of Responsibilities:
•Coordinate shipments with the importer / customer
•Data entry including data to US Customs and other government agencies
•Document processing and checking
•Monitoring shipments
•Truck / Drayage arrangements with vendors
•Arrangements with Warehouse department for receiving
•Approve vendor invoices and process for payment
•Generate invoice to customers
•Arranging Pierpass
•Audit and maintain files
•Ensure the accuracy of all documents
Summary of Qualifications:
•High School Diploma required
•2-4 years of college education (or equivalent relevant experience) a huge plus
•Strong written/oral communication skills
•Basic arithmetic skills
•Reasoning, decision making, and time management skills
Summary of Qualifications:
For this position, a good candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED with a background in an automotive or mechanical related field. However, an associate’s degree in a technical field is a plus.
A good candidate must have experience with and be able to follow preventive maintenance programs as well as utilize a test request order system. Familiarity with MS Excel (to analyze and interpret test data), PowerPoint and Outlook are also required.
Experience with MTS servo-hydraulic testing equipment and software is required, with Elastomer parts testing experience a plus. Experience with 4WD Chassis Dyno and 4-Post Shaker (NVH testing) as well as data acquisition and tools, is also a plus.
Summary of Responsibilities:
For Anti-Vibration Products:
Daily evaluation testing:
Reading, understanding test request
Setting up, operating testing equipment
Collecting, analyzing, reporting test data to test engineer/lab supervisor.
Performance and analysis:
Elastomeric material properties (for urethane products as well)
Elastomeric material destructive/adhesive separation/permanent set testing,
Material property static & dynamic characterization/fatigue durability testing using MTS servo-hydraulic and other testing equipment
Creep & environmental testing
Other Tasks:
Performing vehicle level NVH testing using 4WD Chassis Dyno and 4-Post Shaker (using vibration & acoustic sensors, data acquisition)
Troubleshooting and resolving of test lab related issues
Other duties as assigned
Other Information:
This position is second shift and requires knowledge and understanding of basic mechanics and automotive systems. Skills with common machining, measuring equipment and small machining fabrication are also needed.
The ideal candidate would be able to report to the test engineer/lab supervisor, multi-task for increased productivity, and communicate effectively. Also, they will must have an interest in learning new skills, dedication to quality and accuracy, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude.
