Cancer is a major public health concern that has impacted most people. @qipdiggs and I were honored to co-present Marnie’s Law, HD, #2447. This bill would require additional education for nursing students to identify early signs of inflammatory breast cancer (IBC), when it can still be treated. Marnie Schulenburg died of IBC at age 37 after being initially mis-diagnosed. Her family was inspired to create "Marnie's Army", which has developed this bill and raised funding for its implementation. Special thanks to John and Candy Schulenburg, @koopsyde, Marnie’s Army, and other numerous activates, who have made this bill possible.
