Filters can become tilted or distorted when pushed upon by other organs. In this patient, an enlarged uterus was suspected to have caused this Gunther Tulip filter to become tilted sideways with a few legs bent upwards. Fortunately, this was successfully removed with forceps and no damage to the IVC.

Using a "hangman" technique to remove a scarred Option filter. Simple yet very effective technique.
