Join the AAAN from July 13th to August 6th for our 2026 Summer Session Children’s Autobiography Project!

The AAAN Summer Session Children’s Autobiography Project is a fun writing program for elementary students. From Mondays to Thursdays starting at 10 AM until 12 PM, students will learn how to write about their lives, experiences, families, interests, and goals through autobiographical writing activities.

Today, June 24th, 2026, on what would have been his 22nd birthday, the AAAN remembers the beautiful soul of Zachariah Alyafai, a Yemeni American member of our extended family, who we tragically lost in September of last year.

Zachariah was the beloved brother of our dear colleagues, Youth Organizer Nadiah and Youth Services Associate Iesha; and for many years, a leading youth member of the AAAN in his own right, bringing warmth, humor, and energy to every space he entered.
