The Arda Design team is excited to hear that two of our projects will be receiving Preservation Excellence Awards! The projects include the historic Muddy Water House and the Emmett Till & Mamie Till-Mobley National Monument at Roberts Temple Church of God in Christ. We want to congratulate Roberts Temple Church leadership and Chandra Cooper for their commitment to restore these significant sites. Also, we thank the City of Chicago for their support honoring these projects. Awards event will be held on May 18, 2026, 6pm at the Cultural Center of Chicago. Arda Design working with UrbanWorks, is progressing with the restoration of the historic Pioneer Arcade Building located at 1539 North Pulaski. The existing terra cotta parapet is being carefully removed to replace deteriorated steel underneath. The terra cotta will then be reinstalled. The interior lobby stairs will also be restored.
