My family stumbled upon some heartwarming old letters exchanged between my grandparents during their long-distance romance between Boston and St. Mary's of Notre Dame, and later, between my parents and them. Reading these letters and admiring their beautiful handwriting brings back memories of the captivating pen and ink scenes with wax seals in Poldark. These letters hold a special place in my heart, especially since I'm named after my paternal grandmother, and they both served as my Godparents. Although they are no longer with us, having these letters is a precious treasure.
