Thank you to VIVE church for donating baby baskets! VIVE Church

VIVE church donated bunches of baskets for parents with newborns at Cornerstone. Everyone who has walked into the office this morning has been oohing and awwing over these gorgeous baskets, and we are so excited to give them to Cornerstone parents!

They have little blankets, soap, diapers, wipes, and treats for the parents.

Interested in supporting our families? Donate at https://ccolife.org/cco-donations/!

Our friends at Emerald City Coffee donated coffee cards for shelter residents ☕☕☕

Emerald City has been a longtime Cornerstone supporter, collecting items to donate and being a welcoming space to all of our neighbors.

They also have excellent breakfast tacos and espressos 😋

Give to Cornerstone for Hope for Homes Day!

This annual fundraiser is a collaborative effort between housing organizations across Illinois to end homelessness and remember our neighbors.

Each year for the past 7 years, Chicago has seen between 4,000 and 19,000 individuals experiencing homelessness. Thousands more live on the verge of homelessness of in unstable living situations. In the past year, many of those we serve at Cornerstone have seen social benefits being cut, funding being cut, and costs-of-living consistently rising.

When you give to Cornerstone through the Hope for Homes Day campaign, you are directly supporting our most vulnerable neighbors. When you give $50, you are funding a nutritious meal for a family. When you give $100, you are supporting a child's back-to-school supplies and clothing. When you give $780, you are supporting an entire month of wrap-around support for an individual experiencing homelessness.

You can participate in Hope for Homes Day by giving to Cornerstone through Hope for Homes!
Go to https://www.hopeforhomesday.org/.../cornerstone-community... OR https://ccolife.org/cco-donations/ and donate to participate!
