This Juneteenth, the Chicago Asthma Consortium (CAC) joins communities across the nation in commemorating the end of slavery in the United States and celebrating Black freedom, resilience, culture, and achievement.

As we reflect on this important day, we also recognize the ongoing work needed to advance health equity and ensure that all communities have access to healthy environments, quality healthcare, and opportunities to thrive.
