Devon Oasis Center

We couldn't do what we do without the support of others in our neighborhood! Our friends at Moody Bible Institute send 30-40 students to Devon Oasis Ministry every semester to serve with us once a week. These students help us keep our homework center and english classes going!

Ready or not, school is coming, and summer is winding down. For our team, summer has looked a lot like this picture. We've gathered with our neighbors, met new friends, and deepened old relationships. The best kind of ministry looks like friendship. Here, it happens on mats like these, in homes, and while making up games in the park.

What's your summer been like?

Partnerships are everything! When you see this picture, you probably see a group of smiling faces. When we look at it, we see a neighborhood volunteer who simply wants to serve those she sees every day. We see kids who want to be loved and who need the love of Jesus. We see one of our staff members who pours out day after day. And we see a local church that wants to share Jesus with the beautiful people who call Little India home!

A picture can hold so much, and partnership makes it happen. Because of these incredible partners and so many more, we have seemingly endless opportunities to love and serve people throughout Devon Avenue. Thank you! We couldn't do this without you, and we love serving with you.
