Happy Valentine’s Day from Chicago!
I prepared the following torte:
-1st layer : chocolate almond Genoise
-2nd layer : Leelanau sour cherry compote
-3rd layer : dark chocolate almond feuilletine
-4th layer :cream puffs filled with chantilly
- 5th layer: dark chocolate mousse enveloping the puffs and covering the outside of the cake
-6th layer : 2nd layer of genoise
- all glazed with a sour cherry mirror glaze
- red berries, white chocolate shavings and gold leaf for garnish !
