CT Communications in Action!

The Connectional Table is structured into two working groups and five subgroups to strengthen its work, including a Communications subgroup. Today, our Communications subgroup had its first meeting of 2026. It was a productive session with great discussions and exciting plans for the year ahead. Looking forward to all that’s to come! 💬📅

Connectional Table in Manila! 🇵🇭
The Connectional Table gathered in Manila for its annual in-person meeting — a time of prayer, discernment, and deep conversation about the future of our United Methodist connection.
As part of our time together, we were blessed to participate in mission encounters at the Kapatiran-Kaunlaran Foundation, Inc., Mary Johnston Hospital, and the United Methodist Church Headquarters in Manila. Each visit offered a powerful witness to the ways United Methodists are living out the gospel through service, healing, and community transformation.
We are deeply grateful for the hospitality of our Filipino siblings and for the Spirit’s presence among us as we continue working toward a more just, missional, and connected church.

Honoring Juneteenth. Committing to Connection.

This June, as we observe Juneteenth, we remember the long journey toward freedom and justice—and the continuing work of liberation in every community.

The Connectional Table stands in solidarity with all those who work for equity and healing within The United Methodist Church and beyond. We believe that reflection inspires transformation, and connection is a path to that transformation.

Let justice roll on like a river. ✊🏾🌍

Over the past three years, the Connectional Table has brought together over 1,000 United Methodists in Africa, Europe, the Philippines, and the U.S. to discern the vision of the UMC through conversations about the identity, vision, connectionalism, and mission of the UMC. Many fruitful conversations were had, and the insights from each regional conversation and our shared values are available on ResourceUMC.org. Link below in caption!
