Essential Oils have become such an effortless part of my day-to-day life that sometimes, I forget that not everyone understands/has been exposed to how great they really are.

At my dr’s appointment today I had the usual “check your medications list and make sure everything is up to date” part of the appointment. And, what was once a list composed of anxiety + depression and migraine medications now just simply reads “pre-natal vitamins.” Let me say I BELIEVE THAT ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION MEDICATIONS ARE NOT BAD AND SERVE A PURPOSE.
It is not shameful to use these medications as needed. That is their purpose, to provide relief to those who need them.

But I think as a society we have forgotten the missing step in between diagnosis and modern medication—natural and homeopathic remedies have a place, as do pharmaceutical medications.

I personally, am thankful to have found that in between step is what my body and mind needed to heal. And that because I have these tools, I am able to do what is best for MY body.
