The Kasey Group

August is a month of connection, celebration, and looking ahead.

July brought so many meaningful moments, from a photoshoot for an exciting upcoming announcement and a beautiful baby shower in Connecticut to connecting with the Saravela Development team and learning more about their new Sarasota project.

Here on the North Shore, limited inventory continues to shape the market, while buyers remain thoughtful and ready to act when the right home becomes available.

And with summer still in full swing, August offers plenty to enjoy, from comedy and pickleball to farm-fresh dining and seasonal finds around the city.

Here’s to savoring every last moment of summer.

Refining Your Life Story

August has arrived, bringing the sweet spot of summer on the North Shore. The days are still long, Lake Michigan is finally warm, and there’s a gentle reminder to savor every weekend before the back-to-school season and fall routines begin to creep in. Whether you’re spending the day at the beach, browsing the Winnetka farmer’s market, or enjoying dinner outdoors at Minos with friends, it’s the perfect time to make the most of everything this season has to offer. From live music all around Chicago to the Cubs at Wrigley, there’s something for everyone to enjoy

As a Chicago + North Shore real estate agent, I’ve walked through more homes than I can count, from charming cottages and stunning estates across the North Shore to luxury new developments in Chicago’s West Loop.

You quickly learn where people choose to splurge. Some investments are worth every penny. Others simply look the part.

These are five I believe are actually worth it.
