Today is a beautiful day for a Sunday walk; the sun was shinning and the sky was blue. The temperature was just right for a stroll in the park. As we were walking toward the lake at 63rd and DuSable Lake Shore Dr, we notice the basketball courts were painted in blue and gold. I said to myself, "those aren't Chicago Bulls colors" of red and black. Why are the Lakers colors on the courts in a Chicago park. Upon further investigation, we saw that the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation of the late Kobe and his daughter Gianna, who both died in a tragic helicopter accident a few years back, obviously had donated the Kobe & Gianna Bryant basketball courts to Chicago.
