One of my favorite ways to find unique one of a kind pieces is perusing the local brocantes, flea markets, and an occasional estate sale.
Here in the Champagne region we have the famous Reims marché aux puces, scheduled for every first Sunday of the month. Many beautiful treasures to be found.

The dining room is all ready for the holiday festivities. XIX century backdrop with original boiserie and ceiling ornaments creates a perfect harmony with modern art and furnishings. All brought together by the elegant color scheme, and of course, the Christmas tree.
