3.11 was the 10th memorial day of Great East Japan Earthquake. A message came in from NATORIYA, the Tenugui (Japanese traditional towel) artisan family from Sendai, Japan.

On this memorial day, we want to express the deepest gratitude once again to the friends around the globe for supporting our disaster area 10 years ago.

Friends in Germany, thank you for purchasing our Tenugui as a fundraising and sending us your photos wearing them. It really encouraged us to move forward.
Friends in Chicago, thank you for raising funds, making 1,000 cranes and an album. That album, now displayed in our store, went wherever we went for trade shows.
Friends in Hong Kong, thank you for raising funds and thinking about us when you’ve never met us.

Everything you did for us, warmed us and healed us. We will never forget that.
