The Redwalls

The Redwalls were a rock band built on something rare: real brotherly harmony. Justin and Logan Baren formed the group in high school alongside guitarist Andrew Langer and original drummer Jordy Kozer—later joined by drummer Ben Greeno. Entertainment Weekly called their sound “pretty dead-on” throwback to mid-’60s garage Brit rock. People magazine said they delivered “twangy and tough, with plenty of soul and garage-punk attitude.”

That sound took them far. The Chicago Tribune wrote that the brothers’ voices had “a grainy, cutting quality that can send a chill up a listener’s neck”—and by their early 20s, the band had earned the title of “Noel Gallagher’s favorite Illinois rockers” from Q Magazine.

This past Thanksgiving, the group lost Justin at just 40 years old. To honor his memory and close this chapter the right way, the band is coming together for one final project. And we’re inviting fans old and new to be part of it through our Buy Me a Coffee campaign.
