Researchers at the University of Illinois at Chicago are offering free blood pressure screenings
as part of a research study investigating the effects of exercise training on blood pressure. If you

Congratulations to EXERTLab faculty Dr. Severin, and director Dr. Phillips for their new publication in the prestigious European Respiratory Review!

Their paper discusses how SARS-CoV-2 infection itself may cause damage to the respiratory muscles and may contribute to the acute and persistent dyspnea in patients with COVID-19. They conclude that respiratory muscle testing and training is important for patients with COVID-19.

Tomorrow at 2PM we will be hosting Dr. Alvaro Gurovich PT, PhD, FACSM from The University of Texas at El Paso who will be giving a seminar titled "Exercise-Induced Blood Flow Patterns and Exercise Intensity".
