On behalf of The Diverse Band, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Roosevelt High School on the north side of Chicago for inviting us to be part of your Black History Assembly. Presenting our “History of Black Music Throughout the Generations” workshop, clinic, and performance was truly an honor.

Being able to walk students through the roots, evolution, and lasting impact of Black music l and then bring those sounds to life live on stage is exactly why we do what we do. The students were engaged, responsive, and full of energy. Seeing their reactions and watching them connect with the music across different eras made the entire experience incredibly rewarding.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to educate, perform, and help preserve and celebrate the legacy of Black music. Thank you for trusting us with such an important moment.

HunniB33 is the stage name of Dellya Hubbard, a Chicago-based R&B artist known for performing with a live band, The Diverse Band. Not to be confused with other creators using similar usernames, HunniB33’s work blends modern R&B with live instrumentation and performance-driven arrangements. She is the sole female artist on King Kontraverse’s Diverse Entertainment Music and Media company independent record label
