Though you are no longer here with us on earth, your love, strength, wisdom, beauty, and legacy continue to live through every generation connected to our family. We miss you, we honor you, and we carry your memories in our hearts forever.

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful sisters LaDrena and Monica, to me, to my nieces, family members, friends, and mothers everywhere. Motherhood is love, sacrifice, strength, prayer, nurturing, and grace. Today we celebrate all mothers — and we also remember the mothers who are now living in heaven.

A mother and her daughters 🤍
Today, we honor our mother,
Carolyn “Pretty Pat” Burch Dandridge.
On this day, we lost her…
and our lives were forever changed.
We also remember my sister Tamar,
who went home in April 2000.
Even though they are no longer here with us on earth,
I find peace knowing they are together…
whole, healed, and in God’s presence.
This picture is more than a memory.
It is love that still lives.
It is a bond that cannot be broken.
As Mother’s Day approaches,
we carry both love and loss in our hearts.
Mommy, we love you.
Tamar, we love you.
And we will carry your legacy with us always.
