Carson, Class of 2021

PAS-3

Carson is from Houston, Texas but grew up in Naperville in the earlier years of his life!🤠
He attended Texas A&M University for his undergrad degree. He then moved on to work as a MA for an internal medicine physician in Houston, followed by a position as an MA under 2 PAs for a family medicine practice group in Houston.

Carson was drawn back to Rush for several things: he wanted to live in a big city, he missed his Chicago roots, he wanted to push himself outside of his comfort zone and move away from home, and he wanted to learn from the best in the fields who practice at Rush.

Carson's favorite part about Rush has been how he has been challenged to grow exponentially as a person, colleague, and provider. His clinical interest lies in Orthopedic surgery, which has (ironically) not changed since he started the program ~ha! “I’m very much looking forward to a future as an orthopedic surgical PA, while forming deep connections with patients and hopefully making positive impacts in communities along the way.”-Carson
