🏈💰 Bata Sole Super Bowl Squares Fundraiser 💰🏈
Get in on the action for a great cause! Squares are $20 each and we’re paying out $1,000 in cash prizes! $250 will be paid to lucky winners at the end of quarters 1-3, and at the end of the game.
With this, $1,000 will be raised for Bata Sole, helping fund our programs in 2026 🙌

To kick off our efforts for 2026, we cannot wait to share our upcoming Charity Dance Class series 🪩
This weekend of dance classes was created to push collaboration between Bata Sole and the Chicago dance communities, while also supporting our efforts to provide aid to our Filipino communities affected by Typhon Tino.
Together, sole to soul, we can dance together to brighter futures and tighter communities for all! 🕺🏽

Thanks so much to everyone who showed up, donated, and supported our Sole2Soul event where we hosted a shoe and diaper drive for Filipino communities in celebration of 🇵🇭 Filipino American History Month! Your generosity helps make a real difference ♥️
We especially want to extend our appreciation to our event volunteers, DJs , , and .coffee for sharing a portion of all ube latte drinks sold at the event to Bata Sole's mission and for allowing us to host the event in their space.

Our Story
The idea for BATA SOLE was inspired after my brother and I visited our family’s birthplace in the Philippines in 2012. While we explored my mother’s village, Casilagan, in the Pangasinan province, we were immediately in shock and awe, and heartbroken to see the poor living conditions for the children. We came across a worn-down basketball court and noticed the kids did not even have shoes to play. Despite the circumstances, though, a high-spirited basketball game was being played. The energy was electric, and I saw the love for the game stronger than ever. The next day, we decided to throw the kids a basketball tournament, and the winner would score my pair of black and gold Kobe 7s. We had a large turn out, and it was riveting to see the community come together. A kid scored an impossible 3-pointer to end the match, and he rode off victorious in a crowd of cheers and camaraderie. My mother and late-father worked hard to provide my brother and I a fortuitous upbringing, and I want to give back to the less fortunate. Bata Sole aims to collect and distribute new and used athletic shoe wear to impoverished communities to ensure and provide the basic conditions needed for wellness and exercise. We are asking that you please follow and support our mission to deliver 1000 pairs of shoes to the Pangasinan Province during the village’s annual barrio celebration happening in May 2018.
We are accepting athletic shoe donations in men, women and kids sizes.
