Today we stood outside Maker’s Pride (formerly Hearthside Food Solutions) for Workers’ Memorial Day, honoring workers who have been injured, made ill, or lost their lives due to preventable conditions.

Maker’s Pride was recently named one of the 12 worst companies for worker safety in the National COSH 2026 Dirty Dozen Report. These same production lines have been linked to child labor, amputations, and serious safety violations.

We were there to remember, to stand with affected families, and to demand safer, more accountable workplaces in our communities.

The fight for worker safety continues.
