REGAL is a tool to create virtual exercise environments for people with or without disabilities.
The RecTech Virtual Exercise Environment or VEE, developed at the University of Colorado at Boulder, is a video-based environment designed to make workouts on exercise machines more fun.
The system plays real recorded trail videos according to the speed you pedal, to make you feel like you’re rolling through a natural environment.
Accessibility Instruments Measuring Fitness and Recreation Environments or AIMFREE can be used by anyone to assess the accessibility of fitness centers for people with disabilities. The online version of the AIMFREE gives immediate solutions to the barriers found in the fitness facilities.
