ATTENTION, WINGMASTERS GENERAL:

As I am moving to San Francisco, there will be an expansion of the Wingmasters General to the West Coast!! Birds everywhere tremble with fear!!

This Thursday, March 15, we will be having an (un)official gathering at MR. BROWN'S LOUNGE for their one-of-a-kind smoked, grilled jerk wings. Truly authentic jerk wings and definitely a must for those who like their wings island spicy!! They're half off on Thursdays, so feel free to bring even your thriftiest of friends!!

Next Tuesday, March 20th, we will have the next OFFICIAL Wingmasters General outing at HIGHDIVE on Chicago Ave. They are excited to host and have their wings do their things, so come on out. This will be my last Wingmasters General event for some time, and a successor to the crown will be named. Hope to have you all there! Spread the word- the word is the bird!

The first outing of The Wingmasters General!

Welcome to the Wingmasters General! The rules are simple:

- to rate a Chicagoland wing experience of any birdy goodness, there must be AT LEAST three (3) "members" of the group to attest for the meal. To be considered a Wingmaster General, simply "like" this page, and presto change-o, the title is bestowed.

Each of the three (3) Dub-G's present must sample AT LEAST one (1) wing during dining. The purpose of this is not only to create a great aggregate of poultry punditry, but to encourage members to get together with the mutual goal of chronicling a crackin' bit of bird.

- evaluations should be made on several factors, including (but not limited to):

presentation/color

taste /heat/texture

messiness/aftertaste

- pictures and testimonials will help flesh out the retelling. We're here to celebrate the good, the bad and the wickedly awesome, so let's see some tasty shots!

All in all, let's spread the word and use this as a reason to socialize over a shared passion. Chicken, duck, fattened goose- if it can achieve liftoff, it'll land on our plates. Weekly schedules will be forthcoming with easy opportunities for all to try some of Chicago's best birds.
