Instituto recently celebrated the swearing in of 50 new U.S. citizens from 24 countries—joined by Rep. Jesús “Chuy” Garcia (IL-03), Hon. Thorne, Lawrence Benito of ICIRR and reps from USCIS and The Northern District Court of Illinois.
Even more special, one of the ceremony participants was an Instituto team member. 💙

50 new US citizens sworn at naturalization ceremony Friday 50 people from 24 countries celebrated their new U.S. citizenship at a naturalization ceremony in Chicago, welcomed by community leaders and presided over by a federal judge.

We’re excited to announce the return of our weekly food drive!

Join us for the first distribution tomorrow, and stop by if you’re able to — if not, no worries! We will now be hosting the food drive every Tuesday from 2:00–5:00 p.m. and every Thursday from 9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
